NAS El Centro Airshow

On Saturday, March 14, the historic WWII-era C-53 D-Day Doll will be on display at the NAS El Centro Airshow.
Operated by the Inland Empire Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, D-Day Doll is a fully restored World War II transport aircraft that served as part of the Allied airborne effort. Visitors will have the opportunity to view this iconic aircraft up close and learn about the critical role the DC-3/C-53 played in transporting paratroopers, cargo, and personnel during the war.
The display honors the men and women who served and preserves the legacy of one of the most important aircraft of the Second World War.
